1. About Us

Chemist Box Private Limited is a company incorporated in India, operating a licensed online pharmacy and retail platform for the sale and delivery of medicines, healthcare and wellness products across Bihar and India. Our registered office is at Plot no 26/B, Opposite Patliputra Co Patliputra main field Near Disa de-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre, Patna, Bihar.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our services or place an order.
• Users below 18 may use the platform only under the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

3. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and OTPs, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at care@chemistbox.in of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or that are used for fraudulent activity.

4. Prescription Medicines & Pharmacy Compliance

• Certain medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner. You agree to upload a genuine, legible prescription where required.
• Orders for prescription (Schedule H / H1 / X) drugs will be processed only after verification by our qualified pharmacist and may be declined if the prescription is invalid, expired, or incomplete.
• All medicines are sourced from licensed distributors and dispensed in accordance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and applicable rules.
• Product information on the platform is for reference only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your doctor before use.

5. Orders, Pricing & Availability

• All orders are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance and stock availability. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
• Prices, discounts and offers are displayed at the time of ordering and may change without prior notice. In case of an evident pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
• Product images are indicative; actual packaging, batch and manufacturer may vary.

6. Payments

We accept payments through secure third-party payment gateways, including UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and wallets processed via PhonePe Payment Solutions and other authorised partners. By making a payment you agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

• Chemist Box does not store your complete card or banking credentials; payments are handled directly by the PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
• Your order is confirmed only after successful receipt of payment (or on Cash on Delivery where offered).
• If an amount is debited but the order is not confirmed due to a technical failure, the amount is auto-reversed to the original payment method by the payment provider, typically within 5–7 business days.

7. Delivery & Store Pickup

• We offer home delivery and store pickup from our partner outlets. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on serviceability, location and product availability.
• Applicable delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you confirm the order.
• You or an authorised recipient must be available to receive the order; a valid prescription may be required at the time of delivery for applicable medicines.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Order cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it for eligibility, timelines and the refund process.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose;
• Upload false prescriptions or misrepresent your identity or medical need;
• Resell products purchased from us or use them for commercial redistribution;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of our systems;
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — including the Chemist Box name, logo, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Chemist Box Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, misuse of products, or delays beyond our reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chemist Box, its directors, employees and partners against any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect on posting, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
